My fursonas are extensions of myself. Through them I’ve been able to discover and explore a lot about my sexuality and gender identity when guilt, shame, and trauma kept me from feeling safe to do so otherwise.
It was through Snowfall that I could redefine my transition outside of the gender binary, escaping from expectations being placed on me by my family and peers, and to see my desirability as an aging queer. Through Earl Gray I’ve had the opportunity to address emotional and sexual trauma, and redefine what pleasure means to me while struggling with depression, anxiety, and PTSD. He’s also been a huge outlet for experiencing more of the femboy vibes I felt I missed out on. With Malbec I’ve had the opportunity to really embrace sexual freedom and expression especially in terms of queer masculinity, which is something I had previously shied away from. And Tome, being my newest fursona, is just somebody I can have fun being creative with! Though I do intend to play around with some kinks and fetish stuff through him too.
This commission from Bucket the PuppyClown, showing all of together for the first time ever, casually masturbating and hanging out naked, is so amazing! It feels wonderful seeing all these aspects of myself in a wholesome sex and body positive scene like this. I’ve healed and grown so much over the past few years, and this image really encapsulates that in so many ways.

In other news, I’m excited to announce that my second book, Carry On: Unpacking Your Internalized Transphobic and Queerphobic Baggage, is available for preorder! It comes out on March 20th, 2026. You can also preorder my third book, Nonmonogamy and Queer Inclusivity, which releases April 27th, 2026.
