Hey folks! I’m excited to announce that for the 3rd consecutive year, I have awesome queer erotica included in the Best Lesbian Erotica of the Year anthology series from Cleis Press! Edited, once again, by the magnificent Sinclair Sexsmith, Volume 6 officially launched this past week and consists of 23 more erotic stories that explores a diverse range of queer identities and relationships.
As was the case with my contributions to Volume 4 and Volume 5, this year’s piece, “Something Slutty”, is also deeply personal to me. It’s based on the very real, and very intimate, friendship connection that I’ve shared with my friend Biere for the last couple of years, and it describes some of the unconventional and unexpected ways that we’ve explored pleasure together through that bond.
I sadly haven’t been able to see fae much since the start of the pandemic though. I’ve really missed both quality time together and indulging in the sexual chemistry that we have. Getting to share this piece in part helps me relieve some pretty fucking great memories of Biere, while currently being unable to make new ones.
I’m also extremely proud of this story in particular because I was able to incorporate faer neopronouns into it with absolutely no push-back from either Sinclair or the publisher!
Here’s how this year’s collection is being described:
“Reaching far beyond the confines of traditional erotica, prepare to explore the intersections of ace and kink, of pan and submissive, of exquisite torment and explicit consent.
In the sixth stunning and representative volume, Sinclair Sexsmith once again offers a dazzling array of voices, perspectives, and persuasions navigating boundaries and identities in truly inventive narratives. These twenty-three steamy stories are meant not just to titillate, but to validate—spanning past the pulsing power of desire to make pleasure and trembling release both a healing and radical act.
Find and then lose yourself as you traverse the complexities of full-spectrum sexuality, one delectable story at a time.”
