Welcome to Day 15 of February Photofest 2019 on MxNillin.com
I’d never really had the opportunity of just being naked around other people my age while growing up. Not in gym class, not at sleepovers, not in changing rooms, not in any way really.
It’s something I’ve always regretted. And I don’t mean that in a sexual way at all. I just mean it the sense of having had the opportunities to see other bodies like mine while I was struggling so profoundly with understanding myself.
That’s why I was so excited when my friend Toto, who I’d finally been getting to know a lot better this past year, was interested in taking some sensual pictures of me for February Photofest. Especially since we were both looking for the same sort of experience: to enjoy some casual nudity while exploring sexual expressions through taking some playful pictures!
So, Toto and I sat down together in mid-January with a bunch of post-it notes and made a big list of “wants”, “wills” and “won’t” boundaries to highlight our expectations surrounding doing something like this. It didn’t take long for us to both realize that while we were NOT looking for any form of sexual gratification, we WERE looking for a radical outlet to explore judgement free sexual expression. A space to share together just being fucking loud, and ridiculous, and crass. A room to just be filthy, and trashy, and gaudy, and uninhibited in.
Which is exactly what has happened over the last few weeks.
I can’t say enough amazing things about Toto and I’m beyond thrilled to have now forged this really unique, one-of-a-kind friendship with them where we can enjoy social nudism, take explicit photos of each other, have deeply emotional conversations, and generally just spend time together in such an intimate way without it being romantic or sexual. I never realized just how radical, empowering, and invigorating a friendship like that could be.
I’m really fucking stoked to be sharing some of the images Toto captured of me during our time snapping pics of each other! Here’s the second picture they took of me, the first was posted yesterday, and many more are on the way!
